here is a demo of my Cmatmods deeelay.....I am just getting used to this pedal and so far so good, I really like it! Just using it more for a little ambiance for the Maz Jr. I am not really good at all that dotted 8th note stuff so there's none of that in there
I recorded this in my office at work....it's in a BIG car showroom so it's got a lot of natural reverb which hides the delay a little...nonetheless it was fun playing at work!

Great job playing on the job Mark! Must be nice. All I can do is dream about playing when I'm at work. Unless I go to work on the phones at a music store....lol..... <-phone man Great video! Awesome voice over as well. ;D Pro stuff all the way. I wrote somewhere that I have a Deeelay as well. Mine's an older one with no graphics. I've had it about 5 years. Sounds the same. Great for a simple, low cost delay unit.

thanks Mark! Yeah for the dollars I spent on this one, I think around $100 shipped to my door I am very very happy. I tried a MXR Carbon copy back a while ago and couldn't really bond with it, I am digging this one a lot. Sometime soon in the new year I will get back out jamming with people and I am looking forward to that. I am looking forward to seeing some of your future vids too!
I have a key to the shop and here in this cavernous showroom, there is all kinds natural reverb, it was the first time I came in here and did that. No one around at 10 o'clock at night but me....it was fun and I will likely do more of it. Here is a pretty amateur take of a vid I did for work when I first got my Q3...and since then the building has been refaced on the front to meet Hyundai standards

Nice....Yes....I hope you don't think I'm gay or anything like that, but you have a great commercial voice! Great job. That Zoom is amazing for the price. I was planning on spending a bit more on one, but that may be the ticket. The video quality is fine, but the audio on your guitar clips is awesome for that price. Do you know about any other brands with sound like that? I have a Canon camera and was thinking I might stick with that brand....? Know anything about them? OOpps...I think I'm hijacking your thread... Yes...the Deelay is a jam up little unit. Glad to hear you prefer it to the Carbon Copy.

hijack away Mark! lol....
If I were to get a new gadget today I would buy the Zoom Q3 in the HD version(I have the regular version)...I am seeing them on Ebay (I got mine there) for $299. Seriously, they will have a good picture and the sound is awesome. They use the same mics as the H4 in these things and the best part is on the side of the unit there is three level selects for audio.... low, high and auto. When I make guitar or drum vids (my son's) I use the auto setting. It will clip at first then the unit self adjusts in like one second or so. After that you have great to outstanding audio. The mics are super sensitive in this gadget. If you wanted, use it for a "Whisper 2000" lol! Plug in headphones while you are recording and you can monitor all of what is going on. It's so easy to use too which is a must for me. It's as easy as point and shoot...that's it!
You are not gay.....are you? Neither am I...but if I were....LMAO!!!!! No big deal Mark, that is a great compliment that I take gratefully. I really really enjoy doing that type of thing, I can remember being a kid and taking a cassette recorder with a mic and doing little skits/shows...it was funny as hell. I would love to get into more radio/tv but there is no money in it nowadays. I do some contract work that pays really good put that only happens once or twice a year. If it happened everyday then I would be a stay at home ad man. I may at some point throw together a classic rock show of my own and upload the file when I am done, just play some random tunes, be like a real radio show, sounds corny I know, my wife often says I am a lonely lonely man...LOL, but I think it could be cool. Anyway, thanks for all the encouragement, it's great that people like what I post

Hey Mark! Great demo! I love the tones between 4:30 and 5:00.. but, my favorite part is the Tim Horton's cup on "hot standby"! ;D After moving from southern US to northeastern US a few years ago, my wife and I discovered Tim Horton's.. we're hooked now.

I know, it's hard to pass a Tim's without stopping....it took me some time to get onto the coffee thing, I am not as bad as some who frequent the place non stop...I go once a day, for now anyway
