hey Mark.... well, I replaced the g12h, with a scumback H75...both are nice speakers, but just trying to get a little smoother...never tried any alnico speaker...so I figured I'd see how the other half lives.......I always say..."if its worth doing, its worth OVER DOING!!!"

Good deal~....Prepared to be a very happy Z Amp owner.....The Tubby I think will deliver just what you're looking for. Be sure and give that Tubby about 40-80 hours of play time before you fully judge. However, I think you'll be happy right away!....Just the paint job itself is amazing!

welcome Mike! I gotta a TT in my Maz Jr...the 40/40 hempcone...great sounding speaker, very warm, very loud! Lots of punch too. The TT should sound really good in your 38!

..can't wait bro! The break-in time is important. If possible, run some signal through it, even when you're not playing guitar.. for a couple of days. I usually run my iPod>Ghia through new speakers.. overnight.
