I'm spinning 'Best of the Doobies' this morning... Great stuff! Real gritty grooves and soulful vocals.. smart writing. I love Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald on lead vocals. McDonald may just have the ultimate soul-gospel voice of any singer I've heard. I love revisiting stuff like this.. been a while since I last listened to the Doobs.

I love revisiting stuff like this.. been a while since I last listened to the Doobs. I'm the same way Corey. Seems like with some of the classics you end up hearing them so much you get burned out on 'em... Then you hear the groove again after a hiatus and it's like BAM I love that tune! I've been digging on CCR again lately after getting burned out on em while living in Southern Lousiana doing Katrina relief. (long story)
