That thing is beautiful!! Mama Mia!! I love the in-process pictures too! The packs of parts, the loosely assembled, to the finish product! Mark, you must be on 'Cloud 9' right now.. I love it bro. Great job!

Thanks Guy's. Yes...it did turn out better & easier than I expected! Well...not better, because I had very high expectations. Let's just say I'm very satisfied at the end result. I can not recommend Musikraft & Orion Guitar Finishing high enough. They took all the expert work out of the equation. The hardest part was putting the tuner ferules in and the tuners on straight. Also, getting the control plate, pickguard, and neck pickup all to line up properly before I started drilling holes was tedious. It sounds awesome. It will not be my last parts guitar!

Thanks Scotty. The evolution continues....Even though the Fralins sound superb. I want something a little FATTER. I just ordered a Lollar Special T bridge pickup and a Lollar low wind Imperial humbucker for the neck! ;D I know...some may say it's sacrilege to put a 'bucker in a Tele, but I've always wanted that big, fat, warm neck tone at hand. I like the way they look too..... Should be here next week.....

UPDATE!!!...
I really like the Fralin pickups, but I needed to do some more experimenting to try and get this thing the best it can possibly be.
I ordered a Loller Special T for the bridge and a Lollar low wind Imperial humbucker for the neck...( I've always wanted a tele with a humbucker neck p/u...looks cool and the thought of throwing it up to that neck and that sweet FAT double coil sound takes over...yeahhh )..
Anyway...put in the Lollars and the bridge sounds great, but the Humbucker sounded dull. I'm sure it's the 250k pots. I didn't want to change the pots or the ZoSo .049 cap...so..I sent the Imperial back for an exchange for a Charlie Christian . ;D
I have the feeling this will be the one!! I'll know next week....
more to come~

Mark, cool update.. keep us posted. You mention the Sozo capacitor.. coincidentally, I just received a few Sozo's from Mr. Callaham. I was ordering strings, wire, and a custom control (sans switch slot).. so I went ahead and got four Sozos [two .047 and two .022]. I know there's lots of debate about whether or not the brand or type of capacitor makes a noticable difference in a Passive guitar circuit. But, I want to try the Sozo versus an Orange Drop. In the coming days, I'll put them on test leads and do an A-B test. Do you think there's a difference in your guitar Mark?

This SoZo cap is the only one that's ever been in my new Tele and the only Sozo cap I've ever tried. So nothing to compare it to in this guitar.... However, ALL my other guitars cap's have been changed to Jensen type copper foil in oil caps and I can definitely tell the difference in these. I'll probably be changing the SoZo to one of these before it's over. Callaham says save your money, but I beg to differ...
