thanks Forte....the middle video, Johnny B Good was me filling in with some buddies of mine. That night the drummer and I were the fill ins. The bottom video, "highlights" was a band I was trying to put together after the drummer and I left the band we were playing, This flopped as the singer was in over his head (not to sound cocky but he could not sing) and our drummer was off to school and having some marital issues. So all I do now is play at home. I'll be back out soon I hope

Hey Mark...what kind of video recorder do you use? Do you use the same one at home as that gig? Mic in camera? I need to start looking into getting one so I can post some vid's. ps...you have a very professional sounding voice on that equipment clip. Ever thought about doing commercials?

Mark, I use a Zoom Q3....it's alright as far as picture quality if it's in good lighting. The sound is great! There is a new Zoom Q3 HD out that looks interesting too.
Now on the voice thing...lol, yes I do commercials on the radio and for some TV spots too. It's a habit that I talk like that when I do videos. I really enjoy doing voice work....it's much more fun than what my day job is. Thanks for the comments!

I must have missed my calling!...I should have been a talent scout! Great job Mark!..Now I'll try my hand at producing. You need to at least say something in all your video's With your voice and picking you'll have gearmanndude grasping straws!! ;D Thanks for the tips....but I need more...So, I guess those Zoom's fit on a standard tripod? & when you upload them, are they a wav. file?...then upload them to You Tube?

Thanks Mark!!! The Zoom has a built in "Handy Share" program that allows you to edit the vids. I don't use it because if you start cutting and what not the video loses the sync with the audio. So what I do is record the video. Then upload it to my computer using the Handy share program and save it to my desktop "as is". Then I use Windows Live Movie maker to edit the videos down taking all the crap out. When I do a voice over I record that with my Zoom H2 (as a USB mic) into Cool Edit pro. This is how I do my radio ads too...with Cool Edit. I add the voice over, save the video to my computer then upload to Youtube. I find this really gets me a better quality vid by cutting out all the unnecessary stuff like me walking over to pick up the guitar and then reaching back over to shut the camera off...I can't stand that stuff...LOL. Like I said, my only peeve with the Q3 is that you really need decent lighting or the * video quality suffers. They have a downloadable update but that is no better in my opinion. The HD version of this gadget should be a lot better I would think. Oh yeah, they do fit on a standard tripod....they have the threads in the bottom for whatever clip you use on the tripod
