That is a mighty cool cab there and the concept is amazing. How much does it weigh?

38 lbs, loaded with the H1 Alnico. These grooved 3/4 boards weigh less than comparable 5/8 boards.. and, the grooves help eliminate standing waves.. so the sound projects very cleanly. I love this cabinet. ;D

Thanks, Corey, for the review and kind words. I get a lot of satifaction out of hearing about people's positive experiences with my cabinets. Looks like Dave has Tolex and Grill-cloth options that match my Blonde and brown Ghia perfectly. The tolex and grillcloth options on the website are just some of the more popular choices. My supplier offers a huge variety, I can usually get whatever the customer wants. If my supplier doesn't have it I will find it elsewhere.

Looks like Dave has Tolex and Grill-cloth options that match my Blonde and brown Ghia perfectly. I'm beginning to think this may be an expensive forum.... Anybody wanna buy a Blue and a G12H30? ..to be honest, I'm thinking about ordering another Forte cabinet.. a custom "110S".. same as Dave's 112S model, but with a 10" speaker.. already had one conversation with Dave about it. I am consider a 10" Ceramic San Rafael speaker. It should be a very focused and punchy formula.. and a lot less loud. The SR only tips the efficiency scale at 94db. Which is 3db less than my Alnico 3D112. Just for reference, Tubby's 12" 40/40 Ceramic weighs in at 102db! Apparently, the [average] human ear can detect a 3db change.
