The other day I went over to Victoria Amp, talked with Mark Baier about an amp head. Asked if he could construct a Double Deluxe into a head for me, he said he could. Instead of two 6v6's, it will have four 6v6's. He will also custom build a cabinet for one of my 15" JBL's that were re-coned by Tone Tubby. It will all be done in tweed. I have to wait a few weeks, but that will give me time to try and explain to my wife just how the Universe works. If that doesn't work out, would there be space for a cot in a new Red Barn that I've read about. I'd be willing to pay rent. If you haven't tried a Victoria Amp yet, do so they are great amps and all of them have lifetime warranties. Check out the web site: www.victoriaamp.com

Good post Tommy.. double deluxe, universe, little red barn.. You got it all covered. . Let us know how those custom pieces turn out please. I notice that you have a Hemp in a Hard Truckers cabinet. Awesome. I bet it looks and sounds otherworldly.

Thanks Corey, Yes, the Hard Truckers 1x12 has an alnico TT, it is nice. You won't believe this, but it was ordered on 04-20-11 at 4:20 PM. Glenn at Hard Truckers got a big kick out of those numbers. it arrived in a short period of time. Hard Truckers are good people, they will work with you.
Had to make a few mods to the old profile. When I got back in to gaze around, the profile looked like an ad for a used musical equipment garage sale.
Come one, come all, step right up, step right up, if we don't have it, you don't need it. Goin' out of business, we'll give you the business.
To paraphrase Tom Waits a little, hope he doesn't mind my old timers memory.

I personally would like to find a good, used musical equipment garage sale!
I have been GASing for a Victoria Double Deluxe for a while now. Just a little out of my price range at the moment.

Picked up my Victoria Double Deluxe head with a 115 cabinet today. It has 2 volume knobs, 1 for the normal side and 1 for the bright, with 1 tone knob that works with both the normal and bright. The 115 has an Eminence Legend 1518. Since I took the Legends out of my Mather 115 cabs and put my JBL's in them, I used one of the Legends. Tonight I used the Double D with my TT 210 H-Bomb sounded great to my ears. Could be biased though, truth be known everybody liked the way it sounded. You can catch a look at my Double Deluxe and cab if you go to Victoria Amps website: www.victoriaamp.com.
