Although I am extremely happy with my King Bee tele... There is on aspect I'm not thrilled with. The volume pot. Seems to go from flat out to off in about an 8th to a quarter turn.
What tapered volume pots do you guys use/recommend?

I use a 250k audio taper on single coils, 500k on humbuckers. There are some Tele's that have a mod on the vol. it is a cap across two of the terminals. Sometimes there is a resister also.

With a standard Audio tapered pot, most of the change in Resistance happens near 100% (full clockwise). A Reverse Log tapered pot is the opposite.. with most of the Resistance change occuring near 0%. Give it a try.. I like it. Also, I prefer Linear pots for tone controls.
